India’s Kashish queer film festival’s winning poster has been revealed

In January the KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival put out its annual call for people to enter the design competition for its promotional materials. Mumbai based designer Ashutosh Vyas won with his poster of six silhouettes with pride colors. He said his poster portrays people uniting and forming a society of togetherness and love ‘It feels amazing to win, especially in something you believe in. I believe in equal opportunities for all and stand by the idea that all have right to live the way they want to,’ Vyas said. ‘KASHISH, through this competition helped me express that.’ Along with the prestige of winning, Vyas will also receive a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 25,000 (US$392).
