RuPaul breaks silence about his trans comments but does not apologize

The host of RuPaul’s Drag Race told The Guardian that contestants who had undergone gender confirming surgery would not be allowed on his VH1 reality show. Drag Race contestants and many high profile people condemned his comments. It’s your show @RuPaul . You can have whatever rules you want. That’s that on that. But these words particularly seem to alienate trans people from drag, many of whom do it because they’re scared to present as women daily.
